Drug Control Police (PCD) agents discovered the cocaine divided into 50 packs along with 30 barrels of fuel to power the four-engine vessel. Two Ecuadorans and two Costa Ricans were arrested on international narco-trafficking charges, which carry a sentence of between eight and 20 years in prison. Mauricio Boraschi, Costa Rica’s national anti-drug commissioner, said the confiscation was the result of a joint operation between Costa Rica and the United States.
