LADIES FOOTBALL: MOVILLE U14s SEE OFF URRIS IN INISHOWEN CLASH

first_imgMATCH REPORT: URRIS V MOVILLE, U14 CHAMPIONSHIP: Moville U14 girls took on Urris on Bank Holiday Monday in their game that was put back from last week.The Moville girls got of to a flyer with an early goal from Niamh McDonald that really settled them and another goal followed from Claire Browne with points from Emer Gillen, Danielle McDermott and Colleen McElroy putting the home side firmly in control.Urris rallied with a couple of great points and a goal of their own but Moville finished the half strong and they added a third goal from Niamh Skelly and her midfield partner Aoibh Faulkner scored a point right out of the top drawer just on half-time. Urris hit the ground running after the break with two quick fire goals to give the home side food for thought but once again Moville rallied with some unbelievable points from play from captain Danielle McDermott, Colleen McElroy and Aoibh Faulkner.Moville then closed it out with 3 more goals from McElroy, Faulkner & Browne & points from Emer Gillen and Clodagh Skelly finished off the scoring.Best for Moville where Erin Coyle, Jade Arlene Stewart, Fiona McLaughlin and Claire Browne.Best for Urris were Emer Briney, Mary Jane Doherty and Caoimhe Devlin. Next up for Moville is an away game against Malin on Wednesday evening.
